We have discovered that "getting away with God" can be a significant milestone in our journey, and so we are developing a variety of opportunities for those interested in learning and experiencing "the art of retreat-taking".

Earth Day Celebration- Stations of Creation

Thursday, April 22, 2010, 5:30 p.m., Howarth Park, Santa Rosa
2010 is the 40th anniversary of Earth Day, a day set aside across the nation to turn our attention to the amazing planet that we reside upon and find ways to connect to it through experiences and stewardship activities. The Stations of Creation will be a creative way to take a gentle walk, stopping along the way to ponder and reflect on the natural world and our place in it. There will be some group and solo aspects to the walk, time for sharing thoughts, and space to reflect in solitude. Music, readings and movement will combine for a memorable evening. Meet at the upper parking lot, adjacent to the boathouse on Lake Raphine in Howarth Park on Thursday, April 22nd at 5:30pm.
