How Then Shall We Live? - A Weekend Retreat into the Rhythm of Benedictine Life ( at St. Columba Retreat House, Inverness )

Primarily a silent retreat, this is an opportunity to experience monastic life in community. In the 6th century, St. Benedict of Nursia designed the Rule of Life as a way of organizing the life of the monastics. It has been revised over the centuries but still offers a rhythm for the Christian life that includes prayer and reading, rest, silence and work as well as service to others, all within each 24-hour period. A Man’s Journey: A Look at Our Sacred Pathways
